Karsten Weis is Professor of Cellular Dynamics at the Institute of Biochemistry, Department of Biology, ETH Zurich. Research in the Weis lab deals with intracellular macromolecular transport especially across the nuclear pore complex, mRNA degradation and the function of membrane-less organelles like P-bodies and stress granules.
