Alex Schier is Director and Research Group Leader at the Biozentrum, University of Basel. His lab researches vertebrate development and behavior using mainly Zebrafish as a model organism. Regarding RNA, his lab researches the functions and roles of miRNAs, lncRNAs and 3’-UTRs.
