ERC Consolidator Grants for Lukas Jeker and Martin Jinek

The NCCR RNA & Disease would like to congratulate Lukas Jeker (University of Basel) and Martin Jinek (University of Zurich) on being awarded ERC Consolidator Grants. The project of Lukas Jeker with the acronym "TALE" is on "Therapeutic Allele Engineering: A novel technology for cell therapy", while the project of Martin Jinek bears the short name "CRISPR2.0" and deals with "Microbial genome defence  pathways: from molecular  mechanisms to next-generation molecular tools" according to the ERC results release. These two grants add to the already quite impressive number of ERC grants having been awarded to NCCR members and associate members.
